What is my approach to therapy?
My approach brings together psychodynamic and existential perspectives. I help clients explore how early relationships and unconscious patterns shape the way they experience themselves, others, and the world. At the same time, I invite reflection on deeper questions of meaning, freedom, and what it means to live an authentic life. This combination allows for both healing and the creation of new possibilities.
Why do I work this way?
I believe therapy is not simply about solving problems or eliminating symptoms. It is about understanding your inner world more fully, uncovering what keeps you feeling stuck, and supporting you in making choices that feel true to who you are. By working with both past influences and present existential concerns, we open space for growth, resilience, and a more grounded sense of self.
What can you expect in our sessions?
Sessions last 50 minutes, take place weekly or twice weekly, and are open-ended.
They offer a reflective, supportive space where you can slow down and turn your
attention inward. Together we explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences with
curiosity and compassion. This often involves noticing recurring patterns, working
through emotional blocks, and engaging with questions that may feel too complex or
tender to face alone.
Who might benefit from this work?
This approach may resonate if you are navigating a life transition, facing relationship difficulties, or experiencing a sense of disconnection or loss of meaning. It is also well-suited to those who wish to deepen their self-understanding and cultivate a more authentic and fulfilling way of being.
